We recently completed a driveway renovation in Nazeing, Essex, within a swift two-week time frame, which is an impressive turnaround for a project of this scale. The client requested a classic, hard-wearing finish, so we used Savannah block paving in the “Autumn” colour to achieve the desired look.
The project involved removing the old block paving, excavating the driveway to the correct depth, and installing a membrane for long-term stability. We supplied and consolidated crushed hardcore with a heavy vibrating plate to ensure a solid foundation. After screeding the sand to precise levels, we laid the Savannah blocks, swept in sealing sand, and finalized the process with another round of consolidation using the vibrating plate.
The client was extremely pleased with the result, praising the driveway’s new elegant and durable appearance.
