We recently completed a tarmacadam driveway project in Clavering, Saffron Walden over a three-day period.
The existing area was first cleaned off using a digger before preparation work began. We then supplied and laid a lean mix concrete base and consolidated the area ready for the new surface installation.
As part of the project, we:
- Supplied and laid path edgings where needed
- Applied weed killer treatment to the area
- Applied a bitumen tack coat
- Supplied and laid 10mm SMA tarmacadam
- Consolidated the surface using a heavy vibrating roller
- Sealed all edges with hot bitumen tar
The completed project provided the property with a newly surfaced tarmacadam driveway finished with clean edges and a smooth surface throughout.
