We were delighted to offer our services to a local nursery here in Hoddesdon. The objective was to replace the old wooden ground slabs with tarmacadam – something we completed within a 3-day turnaround. This work involved the following steps:
- Preparation – removal of the old wooden slabs, which we repurposed to use as edging
- To source and apply lean mix concrete and consolidate it with a vibrating wacker plate
- Application of a bitumen tack coat
- Laying a 6mm Sma wearing course and consolidating with a heavy vibrating roller

The client was very pleased with the results, which allowed the nursery to open on time following the school holidays.
